Mike Skoutelakis is one of the top baseball analysts and instructors in Houston, TX. He has the ability to simplify the complex mental and physical aspects of the game so students can quickly grasp concepts and apply them with success.
Mike has over 40 years of playing and coaching experience, specializing in both the physical and mental aspects of the game. He has studied under some of the most respected professional instructors in the country, covering pitching, fielding, hitting, base running, video analysis, and the mental game of baseball.
Mike is a lifelong student of the game — he read his first hitting book, Ted Williams' The Science of Hitting, in 1978 as a 7th grader, and remains committed to continuous education. He spends at least one hour in study for every hour of student instruction he provides.
Mike is the Official Baseball Instructor for the Trotter Family YMCA in the Galleria area of Houston. He is originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and has been a Houston resident since 1996.
